From the start, Atlantic Electric and Solar (AES) was founded on the principles of integrity, hard-work, and customer service. We understand that solar installations don’t always go according to plan and that’s why we set out to be different. Our founder, Jonathan Johnson, started installing solar in California with Tesla and learned quickly how solar installations should be done – with accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness. After 6 years and over 30,000 solar panels installed, Jonathan moved back home to North Carolina to start a family. He took all his knowledge and skills for doing proper solar installations, got his Unlimited Electrical License and started AES.
Today, AES specializes in designing, installing and servicing residential and commercial photovoltaic (solar) systems throughout Asheville and the surrounding WNC area. Additionally, AES installs and maintains battery backup and off grid power generator systems.
